Lawns to be Conquered, Prizes to be Won: A Contest!

It’s time for us to show you our appreciation! We are having a referral contest: for every person you refer to Lawn Connections that becomes a customer, we will give you a $25 credit for your Lawn Connections account. So, one referral equals $25, two referrals equals $50, up to as many as you can get! All your friends have to do is give your name when they sign up. It gets better though. If you refer at least 5 people you will be eligible for our referral contest. The person who refers the most people will win their 2013 lawn mowing for FREE! That’s right, free lawn care for a year. You can close your mouth now. Second prize is an Apple iPad and third is an additional $250 credit. Any referrals that you have already given for this year will count towards the 5 referrals you need to qualify. So, start telling your friends how much you enjoy Lawn Connections’ services. Share our Facebook page with them, show them our website, or even let your friends watch us work on your yard. The contest will end Monday, December 31, 2012. We value your business and look forward to meeting your friends!

The Little Things Count in Lawn Care & Landscaping

The Little Things Count in Lawn Care and LandscapingWhen designing their own lawns, most people think about the big things. They decide what flowers, trees, shrubs, and other plants they want, and where to plant them. They may make arrangements in terms of watering, mowing, and the occasional trim…but to have a truly gorgeous lawn, you need to consider the little things. Or you can hire us to handle them for you!

One item people tend to forget is lawn edging. It’s not enough to simply mow the lawn. That will keep your grass from getting too long, but it won’t make your lawn look as clean and tidy as you might think. Trimming the edges (or “edging”) provides that look.

Many people would like to edge, but lack the appropriate equipment (a lawn edger) to do it properly. That’s where Lawn Connections comes in! Our expert crew uses professional-grade equipment to provide your lawn with a flawless finish. That’s in addition to handling the primary mowing, as well as tree and bush trimming, hedging, planting, pet waste removal, and other maintenance. Why spend your summer slaving over a lawn mower when we can handle it for you, freeing you up to enjoy your weekends or vacation.

Outdoor Living and Different Ways to Shade

Outdoor Living and Different Ways to ShadeSummer weather will be upon us faster than you know it, and forecasters for the Dallas/Fort Worth area say it’s going to be a hot one. If you want to guarantee yourself some shade in your backyard, now is the time to get things started! If you’re not sure what kind of shaded area is best for your yard, consider these three specialties— or contact us for a consultation!

Gazebo
A gazebo is the most classic shaded building for a yard. When we say classic, we mean it: gazebos appear in millennia-old literature from all over the world. A gazebo can be as simple as a roofed area or it can be a complex and ornate structure with a raised floor, shades, and furniture for sprawling out on. We can build a gazebo to match your desired appearance and budget!

Deck
Like a gazebo, we can build decks that range considerably in complexity and design. A deck is a little more complex as it is typically built on to your home, but that also makes it accessible and fun! A deck is a very flexible location where you can host a barbecue or other event, or just lay out in the sun and take a nap.

Outdoor Kitchen
If you perked up when we mentioned barbecues in the last paragraph, this is an option you should seriously consider. Lawn Connections takes great pride in its outdoor kitchen and living spaces, and we can build you an outdoor cooking area that you’ll be proud of too! It doesn’t stop at the BBQ, either: we can set you up with a fireplace, bar seating area, and more.

Decks and shading can be both practically and aesthetically pleasing additions to your yard when designed and built by professionals. Contact us today to see what we can do for you!
